Lift Kings deserves all the stars!! Our garage doors were making loud noises and we contacted several companies to address the issue. One very highly rated company came out and proposed nearly $2000 worth of work (a price that quickly came down to $1500 once pushed) to replaced the rollers, springs, and lubricate everything. Eric from Lift Kings came out gave his opinion of the situation which in which he said only one of the doors could even possibly be considered for roller replacement, and this would cost easily half of what the other company quoted, but he would honestly not recommend doing it. He informed us that most of the noise was from joints that just needed lubrication -- he offered to lubricate the doors, and if then we still wanted to replace the rollers he'd be happy to do it. The doors are almost silent now. $50 for the service call instead of near $2000, and I got educated about garage doors. Eric is the best! I had an issue with my garage door where I could not open it, manually or with the automatic opener. After short investigation, I found the torsion spring had broken. I googled how much it would be to replace and was a little worried with the amount I thought I might have to pay. I found costs anywhere from $700 to $1500! Also, I read how companies wanted people to replace rollers, motors and even entire garage doors. Then I called Eric. I explained what was going on and he told me exactly what he thought it was. We made an appointment, he came on time for the appt and quickly got to work. It was the spring causing the issue, so he put something temporary on the spring so it could be used for a few days until the new spring came in. The price ended up being $425 and he never asked for a penny until the job was complete. My garage door now works like a charm! Outstanding customer service! I recently called Eric on a Sunday due to a cable breaking on my mom's garage door, and he was at my mom's house on Tuesday morning in the time frame he said he would be. Eric was polite and professional and explained everything clearly, including the cost of the repair, which was very reasonable. He also replaced an aging bolt and another small item at no extra charge. Eric really is a gem for people in his service area that find themselves with garage door troubles and is most deserving of all the 5-star ratings and compliments that he has received.
